This vase was fired in an Anagama kiln in Montana for 7 days. Made from a stoneware clay, dipped in a simple slip, and then fired to Cone 10+, this piece really got blasted with fly ash.

*There are some crusty spots and kiln drips due to the heavy ash, which required some grinding on the base (not pictured).
